A typewriter? You still use a manual typewriter? That blows my mind.
It's the 21st century, with Wifi, Iphones, electric cars and air fryers and you are still clicking away on a manual typewriter. And no electricity or batteries required? . . . you mean you can be in the dark and type, or on a beach, or literally sitting anywhere-that's amazing!! And Ribbons Unlimited still assembles typewriter ribbons and can recycle your old spools with a brand new ribbon- that's insane!!. And wait, there's more! you can even call us and talk about typewriters-I am now speechless

5 of 5 PERFECT SM7 Ribbon Wednesday, December 24, 2025
Reviewer: Nicholas Bourgeois from Leland, NC United States
Not only was the color combo I was looking for available, but, I was able to get it on a new metal spool! I’m sure it makes no functional difference, I really   do love the metal spool! I ordered late at night on a Friday, and my ribbon was ready for me in my mailbox. With some stickers! I will 100% be buying from here again!

5 of 5 Excellent Service Friday, August 8, 2025
Reviewer: Charles Judd from Edina, MN United States
I learned about Ribbons Unlimited earlier this year through Joe Van Cleave and JustMyTypewriter videos.  The service is excellent!       I ordered ribbons for the third time now -- silk ribbons for two Olympia typewriters and a Brother typewriter -- and the silk ribbons are perfect!  The delivery is fast.  The prices are reasonable.  The website helps you do quickly find the ribbon your need for your specific machine.  I will definitely continue to use Ribbons Unlimited as my source for ribbons.

5 of 5 Ribbon Tuesday, October 31, 2023
Reviewer: Gavin Burt from Port Jervis, NY United States
I was very pleased with my cotton ribbon for my Olympia SM7; much nicer than the nylon ribbons I've used for years!  The customer service/delivery time were also excellent.  I will come to you for ribbons exclusively in the future!

5 of 5 First Ribbon Purchase EVER Wednesday, September 15, 2021
Reviewer: Kariann Sadlon from Phoenix, AZ United States
I have never purchased ribbon before, but this experience certainly sets the bar high! The website was easy to navigate, the information was clearly presented, and the order even came a day early. 10 out of 10 would purchase again!
