Currently my ribbon has not arrived and the tracking details have stopped updating. I'm hoping to receive this soon because I am restoring a typewriter as a Christmas gift.

5 of 5 Amazing Quality! September 13, 2021
Reviewer: Ernesto from Phoenix, AZ United States
This silk ribbon is an amazing option. I had previously purchased a nylon ribbon from a different supplier and was very dissatisfied with the quality (ribbon had TOO much ink; it was messy and was getting terrible results on my machine). I got in touch with Lanie, who offered the best recommendation. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

5 of 5 First time use of silk ribbon January 27, 2020
Reviewer: Michael Snyder from Columbus, OH United States
I've been buying ink for my typewriters through both E-bay and Amazon, and although they came from different vendors, all of them used some sort of synthetic material (nylon, perhaps).  They are functional, but I thought that in the past the ink was darker.  I remembered that typewriter ribbons  used to be make of silk.  I found Ribbons Unlimited through recommendations from others, so I thought that I would give it a try.  I tried it on my Olympia SM-9, re-spooled it onto metal spools, and went to work.  It was definitely darker and felt more like an old time ribbon.  If you are curious or want to have darker letters, I would recommend giving silk a try.
