And no electricity or batteries required? . . . you mean you can be in the dark and type, or on a beach, or literally sitting anywhere-that's amazing!! Purple/Black SM3 Ribbon January 28, 2024 Reviewer: James Lambert from Riverside, OH United States   As far as the actual ribbon itself goes it appears to be very high quality! I've used it for a couple days now, and after cleaning my slugs, it produces a very crisp nice letter. I wouldn't recommend the purple ribbon though, the contrast between the colors is quite low, so it's very difficult to see the difference. Next time I'll just stick with Red/Black or maybe I'll try Blue/Black. Finally, the spool didn't fit on my typewriter. This wasn't a big deal for me so I decided not to contact about it, because I was able to just transfer the new ribbon onto my old spool. Was this review helpful to you?
